A season of community learning concludes

QuranSG 2026 concluded with a seminar at Singapore’s Suntec Convention Centre on 24 October, according to a MUIS announcement published the following day. The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore says around 400 people attended, including religious educators and members of the public.

The announcement describes a five-month season of learning and reflection, ending with discussions about contemporary issues. This report covers that completed event rather than a new invitation to register.

Three themes in the official programme

The accompanying Annex A describes the breakout discussions. In the organisers’ account, their focus was:

  • Knowledge and AI: retaining human judgement and independent thought when using emerging technology.
  • Climate and environment: responsible resource use, moderation and accountability.
  • Peace and conflict: constructive responses to humanitarian crises, reconciliation and respect for human dignity.

Where to continue reading

Annex B traces QuranSG’s launch to 6 June 2026 at Kampung Siglap Mosque and identifies a beginner’s booklet on tadabbur, or reflection on the Quran. It provides background on the initiative beyond the closing seminar.

MUIS’s publications directory separately lists the QuranSG seminar kit and Tadabbur Quran – Beyond Recitation. Follow that official directory to find the available files and their publication details. These are the publisher’s resources; AL-Naqawa has not reproduced or independently reviewed their religious guidance.

Reading the report in context

For readers interested in faith and technology, a useful next step is to read the original discussion outline before sharing a short summary. Check whether a statement describes a speaker’s discussion, a published resource or a formal decision.

The event summary does not establish approval of a particular AI product. For personal religious questions, consult a qualified teacher or the responsible institution rather than treating a technology tool’s answer as an expert ruling.
