Your choices, clearly explained.
How AL-Naqawa handles your city choices, location and preferences.
Preferences on this browser
Automatic appearance follows your device’s local time: night mode runs from 6 pm to 6 am, without using your location. The theme button switches modes instantly; your choice lasts until the next 6 am or 6 pm, when automatic appearance resumes. Your temporary theme choice, city and prayer-time settings are saved in your browser. You don’t need an account. We don’t collect a private worship history. You can clear your saved choices below.
Location is optional
Location is requested only when you choose “Use my location”. With your browser’s permission, coordinates are sent to our API once to find the nearest city. The backend does not persist those coordinates. You can always search for a city manually.
Requests and operation
We use your selected city and calculation settings to provide your timetable. Our hosting provider processes network information to operate and protect the service. We do not store a location history. If you send feedback, your message and optional email are saved and sent to our support mailbox. Cloudflare handles email transmission, and our support mailbox forwards notifications to QQ Mail for our team to review. A protected hash is used to limit repeated submissions. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.
Email update requests
If you subscribe in the website footer, we save your email address, submission time and consent version, and notify support@alnaqawa.com through Cloudflare. Our support mailbox forwards notifications to QQ Mail. We use a protected network hash to limit repeated submissions. An address entered in the form is not verified ownership; submitting a request does not start an automated email campaign. To withdraw consent or request deletion, email support@alnaqawa.com from the address you submitted. We do not add subscription emails to our analytics data layer.
Google Tag Manager
Our pages load Google Tag Manager to manage website measurement tags. Loading it sends a request to Google, which receives network information such as your IP address. Any additional data collection or cookies depend on the tags configured in the container. Our integration does not add your precise location, prayer settings or feedback messages to the data layer. Clearing your saved AL-Naqawa preferences below only clears our local preferences; it does not clear cookies or data from third-party services.
