What AL-Naqawa stores in your browser and how to control optional measurement.
Features you request
Browser storage remembers your chosen appearance, city, prayer settings and calendar settings. These values support the features you choose; they are not a private worship history. Our hosting provider may use security technologies to operate and protect the service. Optional measurement is not needed to use prayer times or other tools.
Optional measurement
We load Google Tag Manager (container GTM-TX4JFJ9J) only after you accept optional cookies. Google then receives network and device information, and configured measurement tags may use cookies and similar technologies. Google advertising consent remains denied. No Tag Manager script or noscript iframe loads when you have not chosen or have rejected. We do not send precise coordinates, prayer settings, feedback or email form contents to the data layer. Cookies and retention depend on the tags configured in the container; we do not claim a fixed list of cookies that we have not verified.
Your consent record
The local browser-storage key alnaqawa.cookie-consent.v1 records acceptance or rejection and an expiry time, for up to 180 days. It is used to remember your privacy choice and is not sent to our server as an analytics event. After it expires we ask again. If storage is unavailable, the choice applies to the current page and may be requested again on your next visit. Continuing to browse does not count as acceptance.
Change or withdraw
Choose Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject optional cookies at any time. If you withdraw after accepting, the page reloads without Tag Manager and attempts to delete recognised first-party Google measurement cookies, including _ga, _gid and _gat families. This cannot reverse information already transmitted or clear all third-party cookies; use your browser controls for those. You can separately clear saved city and appearance preferences on our Privacy page. Cookie choices are separate from optional email update requests.
